Located in Franklin, Tennessee, where timeless charm intertwines with modern design, interior designer Eric Ross breathes new life into the Collins family’s Tennessee home with a vibrant palette of blues and corals. Initially dominated by dark mocha walls, Ross retained this dramatic hue in the entry while introducing a cheerful atmosphere throughout the rest of the house.
He painted ceilings coral and walls sky blue, replacing the kitchen island’s black granite with light quartzite. In the dining room, floral fabric featuring blue-and-white vases adds a feminine touch. The living area is anchored by an Axminster rug, while the master bedroom features intricate botanical fabrics and custom draperies. Ross made a bold statement in a guest room with geometric patterns for a fresh, youthful feel, complemented by the family’s blue-and-white decor. The warm coral tones extend into the second guest room, ensuring a welcoming ambiance throughout the home.
“I picked a theme of linking geometrics that gave it a younger feel and made it a little fresher.”
