English country design paired with hand-selected antiques gives this new country farm house the warm feeling of rich tradition and history.

This was a new construction of the client’s country residence in the husband’s hometown of Morrison, TN.  Both husband and wife wanted to embrace the pastoral setting and emphasize the feeling of hearth and home.

The client worked with an architect to design a traditional style farm house complete with wrap-around porches, so we selected finishes to make the interior feel like an old farm house.  Also, the wife loves to shop for antiques and collectibles and specifically requested we find opportunities to mix in her treasures with the new upholstery and casegoods for the home.

A classic English country theme was developed to embrace the many unique treasures gathered over several years.  By mixing different patterns and textures, we created the look of age and stability, which marry perfectly with her collection.  The clients were very pleased with their new home.  The interiors allow them the ability to display all their cherished old items in the comforts of a traditional, new home.
