People pay me for my impeccable taste. For fun, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite things. For free. (Generosity is a gift in itself!)

Without further ado, here are ten things I can’t live without:

Blue & White! This color combination is like the air I breath. If there were no blue and white designs, just go ahead and put me on a ventilator.image

Chinoiserie! Oriental decor is simply divine. It’s delicate and elegant and I can’t stop staring at the details of it.

Brazilian Blowouts! Confession: my hair is unruly. The only way to tame the lion is with this miracle of modern styling. Unfortunately, my hair is too short for a blowout to be worth it, so I’m working my micro-flat iron like it gets paid by the hour.

My Audi A-7! You may not agree, but last October, when I saw the article about the Audi A-7 in Architectural Digest after I’d been mulling over the purchase, I knew it was a sign from God. I can’t imagine life without it. Scratch that. I don’t want to live in a world without it.

Boxwood Gardens! I actually fantasize about these bushes. A garden is incomplete without them.

Purple Driving Loafers! Seriously. No summer is too long for colored, suede shoes. Trust me on this one.

imageCustom-made shirts by J. Hilburn. My physique is not standard. I’m tall and have long arms. After wearing a tailor-made shirt once, I can never go back to the rack. Plus, with J. Hilburn clothes, I get to pick my own accent fabrics! So up my alley.

Castle Re-runs on TNT. People will think I have no life, but I’m here to confess: I will watch four hours of Castle and not move. There. I said it.

The Mountains of North Carolina! I’m over being hot. No more beaches for me. It’s all about the stunning views, the cool mountain air, glory of nature.

J. Alexander’s Mac N Cheese. You will thank me. I’m a connessuier of fine macaroni and cheese. This is the best, bar none.
