One small change can make a huge impact!
If you haven’t been paying attention to current interior design trends (and if you haven’t, you should be), you may not have noticed a MAJOR trend. It’s called Flamant design, after the famous Belgian furniture company. They have pioneered a modern/vintage look that takes old, reclaimed woods with bleached, weathered patinas and create beautiful tables, chests and cabinets. This trend is HOT and every major and minor furniture manufacturer has introduced collections during the past 3 furniture markets.
What is so great about this trend is it’s easy to incorporate into an existing room. Do you have an existing room with very traditional furniture? (Which, by the way, is trending down.) You can bring the room back into fashion by simply replacing a cocktail table with one of these character-rich pieces. Their patina makes them appropriate in a traditional setting, but their simple, unornamented design and light finishes bring some interest to an otherwise solemn room.
Don’t be afraid to mix in some new accent pieces of Flamant tables in your room. They’ll keep you on trend, and you’ll enjoy the innate history in every recycled piece.
